The Blob

Nestled within the blue and yellow pillow eager children anticipated the ride. The countdown was on. Three, two, one. Terror mixed with excitement was written all over their faces as they were catapulted towards the sky. Spinning, twirling and tumbling the children twisted their way through the air. As they plummeted towards the water their faces grinned in delight. Splash. ‘’Can I have another go please?’’

Rollercoasters

Until today I had never been so scared for my life. Roller coasters are truly my worst nightmare, I couldn’t believe I was here. But I bravely stepped forward.

The noise of the track deafened my screams. Was it nearly over? I screamed and screamed and crossed my fingers tight.

in the dark forest

A little boy  called zack was playing with his dog. He threw the ball too far and the dog ran into the forest. Running after the dog zack went further and further into the dark forest. Soon he felt lonely and scared.

He find a cave and saw his dog  in the cave. There was a bear then the bear attacked him. The bear was big and brown with sharp claws and teeth. It growls so loudly that the trees shook. Zack was terrified. He was breathing so fast and his heart was racing.

zack yells for help. Suddenly his dog appeared followed by his father. His father threw a long spear at the bear hurting it which made it run away. Zack was finally safe and went home with his family. notice

At Waitangi the crowds gather into a sea of people under the proud flagpole to watch the kapa haka performance celebrate our nation.

All About Me

Hi my name is Benjamin and am 7 and my favourite teacher is Miss King and I like to play with my friends and I am a year 4 and like to kick the ball and my favourite sport is rugby league and I play for Howick Hornets and like to tackle and like to go to the beach when it is a hot day.

Cool weekend away with my family

In the weekend I went to the Paihia Pine lodge. I went for a swim in the big pool with my brothers, it was fun. We had a BBQ after our cold swim. On Saturday, Me and my family went to Keri Keri town center and then we went to the market.We went to Action world in Paihia, there was heaps of stuff we could play on. One of my favorite activities was the Jousting bridge where you had to hit the other person off with a balloon hammer until one person falls off the bridge. My other favorite activity was the Extreme slide where we had to climb up the high ladder and then slide down, it was a very high slide for me. When we were going back home we visited Goat island and we went for our last swim, it was fantastic. I enjoyed my time with my family. We had heaps of fun!
